Q. How quickly can you knock up something as a prototype?
A. Is five minutes too long?
Ooh, I hate when clients say this. What they are really asking is "can you make me something that does the job but do it quickly so I only have to pay you for three days work instead of 6 weeks". Then they don’t understand why it will still take 6 weeks to prepare the finished product. This goes back to my original point about how much clients really know about what they are asking for and why don’t they understand how much it really costs?
